My care has been excellent. The people who come to my home are friendly and efficient and do exactly what I require. They even see jobs which they can do to help which I have not pointed out.

My care has been excellent
All the staff at Wright Care are professional, caring, attentive, friendly, give great companionship and go above and beyond the call of duty. If my stepmother has had any problems, they have always sorted it out promptly or kept me in the loop as to what is happening. Management has been wonderful in sending a carer early if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend Wright Care to friends and family.
Thank you so much to the whole team. You are all Amazing.

From the initial telephone call, we knew we had struck gold with Wright Care at Home. We were looking for care for Mum as she was leaving hospital after a long stay and needed extra support with a view to long-term care. The Care Director was the most helpful person you could wish to speak to, she fully understood our needs and did her utmost to help us out as much as she could. Mum’s health declined significantly over the following six months and Wright Care were very flexible with the care provision and was happy to change the delivery to meet our needs.

Every member of the household felt fully supported and all the carers were friendly and welcoming and part of the family. Unfortunately Mum recently passed away, but the carers were there with us at every stage to support us all as well as Mum at the hardest time you can imagine.

What a company and what a team, there are no words to express how valuable they have been to us over the past year, and I would not hesitate to recommend them

How lucky we are to have found you

Wright Care at Home started caring for my mum in late April 2022. The twice-daily visits gave me the confidence and assurance that my mum was being looked after and supported with her activities of daily living and restoring her dignity after a very difficult time in her life. In addition, the time spent with her by the carers was helping her to regain her confidence to interact with others. Something she lost through being alone too much through the Covid pandemic.
A few weeks ago when the carer visited my mum, who that day, was very unwell. She called for help from the care manager and contacted me. We decided that an ambulance was needed. Both the carer and manager stayed with Mum until the ambulance arrived and I could get there. This took a while, but they supported her and ensured she was safe and comfortable. They even helped to pack a bag for her impending hospital stay.
Mum is home now and I am safe in the knowledge that every day, caring people are looking after her.

Dear all,
I would like you to pass on our thanks to your colleague who has been looking after my parents. To say she was well-liked is an understatement (I think my parents would have adopted her if they could). She went out of her way to help in any way she could and for Mum and Dad, who have sadly had to go into respite care, her visits were the highlight of the day. She was always cheerful and had time to chat and make my parents feel relaxed.

Please tell her how much we, as a family, appreciated her work and commitment to her duties regarding Mum and Dad and I know they will miss her.
Thanks also to all your team for their work, it has been much appreciated.

To say she was well-liked is an understatement

My first encounter with Wright Care at Home was when I was facing the discharge from hospital of both of my parents who both had very different care needs but had come to the stage in life where they were no longer able to care for themselves or each other.  Wright Care at Home hadn’t been established long and to be honest we were a bit out of our area, but Sammy Wright agreed to visit us and discuss our needs. As I was tasked with trying to provide this care that in itself was a huge relief – having someone who was prepared to just come and have a chat was such a delight but when I myself and parents met her we knew her ethos and that of her business was head and shoulders above any other care company.  I’d spoken to so many other care providers, none were prepared to visit, and they all just seemed to want to sell us a package that was convenient to them, not focussed on the specific needs of my parents.

I consider myself one of luckiest of people when Sammy agreed to put in place a care package for my parents.  It was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders, but that was just the start.  What followed was quite simply exceptional.  Carers who were passionate about their job, individuals with so much care and concern and a management structure that ensured my parents were central to everything that was provided for them whilst I was also key to the whole support regime and kept informed of any issues Mum and Dad were having, often things they wouldn’t have shared with me.  Wright Care at Home gave me back my independence following several months of trying to do it myself, and at the same time gave my parents their lives back, free to live their lives in their own home.  It was a perfect relationship between all the various parties and I watched as my parents thrived.  They really did enjoy the carers visits, they became an adopted family and one of the highlights for them was the weekly sheet advising them of who was visiting when – a simple pleasure perhaps but something they cherished.

Sadly my Dad didn’t enjoy the care for too long, but thanks to his carers we were alerted very quickly to health issues and were able to get him the hospital care which made his last days much more comfortable that they would have been prior to his passing.  The care that then followed for my Mum was exceptional and well beyond any expectations.  Wright Care at Home supported her fantastically through a very difficult time and kept me very well informed of how she was doing, at times on a daily basis, right up to her unexpected passing a year later.

I will remain eternally grateful to Sammy and the team at Wright Care at Home for all they did for my parents, and indeed for all they did for me. The team is simply the best, genuinely caring individuals who together deliver everything they say they will and more.  I couldn’t have chosen better.
