Companionship Support
At some point we will all feel lonely in our lives, particularly later in live. Loneliness can become something that can define us and have a significant impact on our well-being. We have a real focus at Wright Care at Home to support all our customers with companionship.
At each one of our visits be solely for companionship or combined with another service we always like to encourage mental well-being. Looking at what is around you and then using this to enrich your daily life.
We can support with befriending visits or trips out in the community. This could be a meal in your favourite restaurant or village pub. Afternoon tea or cake in your favourite café. A walk in the fresh air or to the local garden centre. We can also look at supporting with trips further afield.
Whatever your wishes we will try and meet these. Remaining in contact with loved ones and friends is important and we will support you with ways to make this happen. Whether it be video link or phone call support.
Our care team enjoy getting to know you and one of our absolute privileges is becoming part of your life and hearing about past events and your interests.
We offer respite to full time carers and also long-term regular visits from a minimum of 1 hour per week.
