Wright Care At Home – January Newsletter
Happy New Year……
Our first 2020 newsletter and already we have been achieving great results across the care team. We have been holding various training sessions and our care team are starting new qualifications to further their knowledge and their career in care.
We are all very excited about the next few months and are already starting to plan the year ahead with lots of exciting customer events!
We all hope you had a great Christmas and would like to thank all our customers and their families for the Christmas cards and treats! We are all now busy trying to shed the lbs….
Elf Day for Alzheimers…..
On Friday 13th December our two very own Wright Care Elves made some special deliveries of home made cakes to our customers. It was so lovely to see the surprised smiles and to spread some festive cheer!
Our team work so hard 365 days of the year and what better way to show how much they are appreciated than bringing them all together at Christmas for some fun and games. We even managed to get Santa away from his busy schedule …with his very own knitted beard!
Hello’s and Goodbyes….
We welcomed 4 new team members in December and January. Donna, Laura, Lucy and Michelle (Left to Right) Donna is new to Care and Laura, Lucy and Michelle all come with care knowledge and they all have passion to deliver excellent standards of care. They have already fitted into the Wright Care at Home family and we have received some excellent customer feedback for them all. We sadly say Goodbye to Rosemary who leaves us this month.
It was so lovely to receive such nice cards and gifts from our customers and families, complimenting the service they have received from their Care team over the years.
A little extra thank you also went to our care management team who have worked with a particular customer
and their family to ensure she had fantastic continuity and a key worker who made outcomes achievable.
In November and January the team have been taking part In their training refreshers. We love having Derek from Archer Business solutions in because he really engages the team and has real life experience of the scenarios our care workers may be faced with. The team is much bigger now so we had a few training sessions this week. It’s always brilliant to stay up to date with legislation and the practice needed to deliver such a high standard of care.
From the Care Manager….
Another year is upon us in the Wright Care at Home family and I’m finding it hard to believe this year will be heading us towards our 4th birthday. I’m not sure where the time has gone.
We want to wish you all a Happy and healthy New Year. We are looking forward to seeing you all throughout the new year and continuing to provide the high quality care we pride ourselves on here.
I would like to say a big well done to our new starters who have successfully completed their induction training and now are on their practical training, getting to grips with the ‘Wright’ ways of doing things!
We are sending a huge thank you on behalf of the care team for the thoughtful gifts they received from our customers and their families. A very touching gesture.
Here’s to another great year with Wright Care at Home!
