Wright Care At Home – February Newsletter

Wow… What a busy month and start to the year it has been. Not only did we move office but we had two events, we moved office, we grew our care team and we have lots of lovely new customers.
Kerrie and Heather were promoted into their Senior roles and attended training to support with training in the organisation.
We had another lovely testimonial from one of our customers and we have been busy organizing our first-year Birthday Party.
Our Voluntary service was rolled out and we are excited to commence this in March.

We supported World Cancer Day

4th February 2017 – To support ‘World Cancer Day’ we joined Marie Curie who we work alongside weekly by wearing a Unity Band. We had a team meeting to join and really talk about what we can all do to remember and support those with Cancer.
We donated £120.00 from this event to the charity.

Senior Congratulations…

This month our two new Senior Carers ‘Kerrie and Heather,’ attended Home Instead in West Norfolk.
They completed an intensive 2-day course for Moving and Handling ‘Train the trainer.’
After a vigorous assessment, they both along with the Care Manager passed and are now qualified trainers.
This will support all our customers and also the team with meeting needs of our customers.
Well done both of you!
The learning never stops at Wright Care at Home.

Celebrating Dignity Day….

#DAD2017 – 1St February 2017
Wright Care at Home held a Digni’Tea Day. Our Team all visited the office for ‘Tea and Cake.’
We then all discussed what Dignity in Care met and made a tree in the office which will build as we grow.

Dignity is care is what we believe in at every care visit. As a family run organisation we believe in treating our customers how we would our own family.

From the Care Manager…

We have had a great month at ‘Wright Care at Home.’
It’s been a busy time, not only have we moved into our bigger office, we have had lots of lovely new customers, new additions to the Care Team and some great training success stories.
Our Voluntary service soon commences and this is an exciting service that we are looking forward to rolling out to our existing customers.
Lots of background work has been going on planning for our 1yr party which we hope your all be part of.
Keep track of our latest news on our website and on our social media pages.
